Drawing Advice?

Hiya guys. I'm sorta back. Sorta. My finger is broken, therefore I can't really take a decent photo because I can't even handle my own crew properly. It sucks.
So here is the deal... if i practice my "drawing" skills... will you drawing folk give me some pointers? I'm not the best artist in the world, and I'm pretty much going off what my "How to Draw Manga" books tell me. (Which are diverse and many) I'd like to get back into drawing again. Since my shoulder surgery in 2003, I haven't picked up a pencil as often as I used too. The extent of my artwork anymore usually consists of funny faces being drawn on the whiteboard at work (usually followed by hysterical laughter and running.)
So? Can I hear some comments please?

I've finally paid off my Soom Cuprit! Thanks Gods! I'll never do that again, it takes a hefty chunk out of the paystub!
